  • After an interesting visit to the cellars where ages the Bala town (now Historic Archer) and a full explanation of the history of this cheese and shepherds of the Valley, we could enjoy a great lunch with the classic dishes of the area, from appetizer to dessert. All very good and delicious.

  • I didn't know the place and it was a very interesting and tasty surprise. The passion, the love and the inexhaustible desire of these people to preserve history and tradition of bitto prepared as well as historically has done for years is at once surprising and engaging. Great tasting of cheeses and pizzoccheri.

  • great tasting cheese (the house specialty) of various pastures and various aging with pizzoccheri with cabbage and taste of polenta taragna, made with fine flour. Some red Valtellina to watering the whole. Great food, great.

  • It's the only place where you will find the true Bitto, one made with milk from cows, which eat only grass. The new regulations, approved by the Ministry, is to add flour and milk. Bitto produced here is out of this new rule, in favour of great quality. Information and read the story. Following this, it calls Rebel Historian!!
