  • After an interesting visit to the cellars where ages the Bala town (now Historic Archer) and a full explanation of the history of this cheese and shepherds of the Valley, we could enjoy a great lunch with the classic dishes of the area, from appetizer to dessert. All very good and delicious.

  • I didn't know the place and it was a very interesting and tasty surprise. The passion, the love and the inexhaustible desire of these people to preserve history and tradition of bitto prepared as well as historically has done for years is at once surprising and engaging. Great tasting of cheeses and pizzoccheri.

  • great tasting cheese (the house specialty) of various pastures and various aging with pizzoccheri with cabbage and taste of polenta taragna, made with fine flour. Some red Valtellina to watering the whole. Great food, great.

  • It's the only place where you will find the true Bitto, one made with milk from cows, which eat only grass. The new regulations, approved by the Ministry, is to add flour and milk. Bitto produced here is out of this new rule, in favour of great quality. Information and read the story. Following this, it calls Rebel Historian!!

  • If you want to visit the cellar where are you age real shapes and a healthy lunch of cold cuts, bitto pizzoccheri and polenta, stay safe ...

  • an example of high commitment for the protection and enhancement of a dairy/gastronomic excellence that has deep roots in the culture of the place. a shame that you are facing the agrifood lobby institutions lined up, rate approvals at the expense of tradition, and we should even defend economic attacks/tape. deserve our utmost support, with best wishes that your resistance will be successful. • It is the only product the bitto according to the traditional method in the pasture with the milk of cows and goats and then matured in the cellar of the center of Bala. A unique place
