  • A wonderful Street. Full of gorgeous palaces and beautiful arcades. With a beautiful monumental bridge that crosses it and spat a nice square. The only con is that it could be a little better, but her beauty manages to overcome, too.

  • Via XX Settembre, via central shopping street. A street in slow and steady decay. Despite the presence of cultural sites such as the Church of consolation, the monumental bridge, the Abbey of Santo Stefano (located near the monumental bridge), and the presence of beautiful mosaics on the sidewalks in the arcades, cleanliness leaves something to be desired as well as safety, especially after close of business. To be a downtown, after 20 is likely to become no man's land and, at times, too many times it has been "assaulted" by street vendors, some of which are particularly troubling. The path leads directly to Piazza De Ferrari, the home of the Doge's Palace, the Palace of the region and of the teatro Carlo Felice. Once the shopping street par excellence and, until the years ' 90, you could find many theaters that gave a strong enlivened the evening schedule. The flood of 2011 prevented access to pedestrian subways (via Cadorna take via XX), and as a result were permanently closed in favour of pedestrian crossings on less secure surface for the safety of persons. A shame for what it was "Lady", although a walk occasionally do not disdain never.
