  • The view from the towers was excellent after you agreed with the guide inside the House of Christopher Columbus (there not far), a visit to the top of the towers. The help was great and explained everything to mark what they could see from above: that means all Genoa. Ideal for the first days in order to get an overview of the city and get an idea of what you'd like to visit in the following days. Consider that the visit takes a long time and that the stairs are quite high, but to stand and take pictures on a sunny afternoon, I those 2 I spent it gladly. Especially for a guide so prepared.

  • Still in great condition, was one of the doors of the city of Genoa, and named port also of Sant'Andrea, built to protect the city against the attack of Barbarossa. Nearby is the House of Columbus.

  • We stumbled by chance on this magnificent architectural ensemble that impresses and surprises at the same time! Indeed how one could imagine falling on this huge door after having roamed by small narrow roads hiding and the small bars and nice restaurants. A little further down is a beautiful cloister. You could amaze also easy access this piece of history; the entry is not regulated, which has its advantages and disadvantages... In any case c is a place worth visiting

  • It's a nice port in the middle of Genova. Many nice restaurants nearby.
  • Impressive to see these towers still standing after all these centuries.
  • Interesting and historical neighborhood.
  • Porta Soprana is a demarcation point between the old city, the narrow streets or town, and the current one, piazza Dante piazza De Ferrari via XX settembre. Definitely worth a ride.

  • One of the most beautiful ancient doors of Genoa, near the House of Christopher Columbus. You can't see it
