  • Located in the oldest part of the city near the fabulous complex of s. Maria di Castello lies this medieval tower really valuable. Sandwiched between lanes is almost hard Dante says, but near the church a widening offers good visibility. The tower is home to private residences and then closed in the lower part there are the Cellars of local wines and appetizers are a cute Embriaci.

  • In the Castle District is this 12th century Tower House that belonged to Crusader Guglielmo Embriaco, known for his ruthlessness in concluding negotiations in their favour after fightings in the East. It is not easy to find it, although it is visible from afar, once we enter in the Castello district is likely to go unnoticed since it's attached to buildings. In my case I found fresh out of the Church of Santa Maria; If you're lucky and find volunteers in the Church ask their news on the Tower, I definitely will.
