Ride the elevator to the top of the tower at Spianata Castelletto. You also can climb the 80 m (262 ft) on foot. Admire the old city port and the area's many gardens, as well as the antique architecture of the elevator facility. Originally part of a fortress, this site is in one of Italy's most pleasant residential areas. • When you're at the Esplanade Castelletto there's a lot of houses below, but like a whole town, and you can look at the roofs and thinking they are truly many, is not a fact so obvious that there are so many roofs, for example, once I was on a cruise and even climbing up to the top deck I so many roofs don't have not seen. Then you see the sea, but that even if you go on a cruise, and to tell the truth on a cruise you see a lot more, but in the end it is the contrast between the roofs and the sea make the Esplanade Castelletto somewhere more pleasant than a cruise ship. Also because there nobody chasing you and calling you stowaway on cruise ships, it happens to me every time.

  • After a nice evening, we came back after some time admiring the view from the Esplanade of Castelletto ... magnificent as always, right affected by the wind that often characterizes the mid-season of Genoa, from this terrace propped behind the historic center you can enjoy one of the best views of Genoa. zona viva, although not at the level of the alleys , also allows you to enjoy one of the best ice cream (or granite) of Liguria, thanks to Don Carlos, which is located in the immediate vicinity

  • You arrive by elevator (too bad that now both modern and anonymous, I was told that once there was one wooden decorated liberty) and from there exceptional view on Genoa. As a tourist I recommend going

  • Really must visit for sightseeing. Marvelous views all over Genova city. Easiest way to climb this mountain is to take special elevator from down the hill up. Otherwise if you plan to have a walk up, then be ready for a 30-40 minute trip. But it is worth it. You can enjoy a lot more fine architecture and views while wandering around.
  • If you want to see most of Genova from uphill and enjoy the stunning view this is right spot. First time in Genova? You should definitely go there!
  • Best place for a good view of the city. It is a great place to visit during sunset.
  • Top three, if not the foremost place to go in Genova for a view. There are lifts to get to the top, but also winding stair heavy streets which I wouldn't miss if you can take the challenging 'hike'. Grab a coffee, a pastry and a newspaper from the bottom to experience it as the locals do. Offering views to Palazzo Bianco, Palazzo Rosso and of course via Garibaldi. TL;DR - if you go to Genova this is the most impressive and cheapest thrill. DO NOT MISS!
  • Fantastic viewing point of genoa. There is also a lift if you don't want to take the stairs. 90 euro cent for single ride.
