  • I love this chocolate shop and its handicrafts, especially the zest has been applied. This store is definitely the best chocolate throughout Genoa, products that stand out for their quality and goodness. The staff is friendly and the store is typical. I love this chocolate: chocolate Viganotti for me is an indispensable Vice!

  • Within walking distance of the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, almost hidden in a small alley is the historic factory-chocolate shop of Romeo Viganotti. Outside there are loud and bombastic insignia, however the small wooden door is the prelude to the entrance in a fairy tale world, a timeless atmosphere that surrounds as you enter. The restaurant is tiny, with shelves filled with masterpieces of chocolate in perfect order, as well as trays visible beneath the glass of the sales counter. Partially because in the laboratory at the back, divided by a curtain, is operating a machine old, which leaves you speechless: chocolate is truly handmade, just like before! Jobs, friendly and knowledgeable, with patience and professionalism guide the clientele among the many proposals of the highest quality, to be included in packages wrapped in elegant blue paper. The choice is difficult between the traditional (Kibbles, Boers, cherries, candied, chocolate creams, Browns, Geneva) and new products (various types of chocolate flavored with salt, spices ...) and I could go on the list for who knows how: all excellence to satisfy the palate of the most demanding connoisseurs! Our favorites are the Boers, cherries and candied, and every occasion is good to give us a taste of the "food of the gods", besides being a gift-and desired! -from friends, Genoese and not. To avoid the queues during holidays is preferable to access it at lunchtime, taking advantage of the lunch break. Finally, a short distance away, recently opened the pastry with ice cream: the tradition continues with the same quality and new temptations!

  • I have been here for a coffee and I tasted a small Sicilian cannoli coated with chocolate. Pastry very good indeed. High prices (4 euros and 10 on everything). Given the prices I would expect at least a glass of water with coffee and dolcino.

  • Excellent quality cakes, especially the Bavarians. Costicchia, but it's what you spend.
