Elegant building that houses a limited collection of paintings and sculptures from the 19th and 20th centuries. The Museum is never crowded, accessible by train, avoid self, impossible to find parking! To visit in the flowering period of the roses, when the colors and scents are at their peak, may, June!

On a rainy Sunday I visited the collection which is located in the beautiful parks of Nervi. In the large manor houses several works, mostly paintings, by artists of the last century. Arranged on three floors is home to the majority of Italian artists including names like Telemaco Signorini, Leonardo Bistolfi and Giuseppe De Nittis then include foreigners as the American Richard e. Miller. Foreign artists are located on the third floor and the second floor is almost entirely dedicated to Venetian artists. There is a bit of everything but to fascinate most are paintings of the ladies of 800 rich in charm and sensuality but also Venetian landscapes or stunning painting of Signorini as Ligurian Riomaggiore. In the basement the view of Daniela Pareschi open until 20/11/2016.

Where to stay in Genoa

Located just steps from the city's famous tourist sites, Genoa's centrally located B&Bs and hotels offer comfortable lodgings suitable for all tastes and budgets. To avoid the expense and stress of driving and parking in Genoa's central districts, look for a boutique hotel just outside the city center. Staying out of the busy heart of Genoa is a practical and affordable compromise, offering a good base for exploring numerous fishing villages located along the coastline. Hostels operating in residential areas also offer private parking and easy access to buses into the center of town.
