  • In a short time, and it's somewhere 16th century Genoa quickly turned from the city of seafarers in city baryg hucksters, moneylenders and bankers. So this was their epicenter. Even the Church of "St. Peter banks" is based on the principle of self-sufficiency at the bottom (the stylobate) are located shops, and on top of the Church itself. We have seen that there are marketplaces for now!))) Opposite the Church of St. Peter on the left or right (see), is building the financial bulwark of the time grey Loggia (Gallery) traders, with large arched Windows and bas-reliefs on the portico, built in the 16th century. To avoid the expense and stress of driving and parking in Genoa's central districts, look for a boutique hotel just outside the city center. Staying out of the busy heart of Genoa is a practical and affordable compromise, offering a good base for exploring numerous fishing villages located along the coastline. Hostels operating in residential areas also offer private parking and easy access to buses into the center of town.
