Parchi di Nervi, Genoa

4.2
#2 of 11 in Parks in Genoa
A sprawling seaside oasis, Parchi di Nervi is a complex of many parks that once belonged to private villas, but are now united and publicly accessible. Relax on the grass and enjoy a picnic, stroll the seaside promenade, or wander the rose garden. Though their presence has caused great controversy, squirrels populate the gardens in great numbers and are friendlier than most. Visit the old villas: many have been transformed into museums, including the Gallery of Modern Art and the Wolfsoniana, which is mainly dedicated to the Art Deco and Art Nouveau styles. Make Parchi di Nervi a centerpiece of your Genoa vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Genoa trip planning app .

  • Parks that allow you to spend a day of peace and relaxation. Perfect for families with children, for people who want to go for a walk with their animal but also for guys who want to have fun with the ball, soak up the Sun or listen to some music. In short, suitable for everyone. Clearly gives its best in spring/summer!

  • Magical place that always brings me back to my childhood. Not to be missed because despite the influx of people is kept at best. Highly recommended a visit perhaps with a good book!

  • Beautiful place, Ideal for a romantic walk.
  • Lovely park with squirrels.
  • Great park with well equipped children's playground. Park harbours enough shadow places to relax even on a hot day. Trees have indications of their names, which is great for learning what they are.
  • Good view and awesome for evening. Very peaceful
  • Great place to hangout

Where to stay in Genoa

Located just steps from the city's famous tourist sites, Genoa's centrally located B&Bs and hotels offer comfortable lodgings suitable for all tastes and budgets. To avoid the expense and stress of driving and parking in Genoa's central districts, look for a boutique hotel just outside the city center. Staying out of the busy heart of Genoa is a practical and affordable compromise, offering a good base for exploring numerous fishing villages located along the coastline. Hostels operating in residential areas also offer private parking and easy access to buses into the center of town.
