Parchi di Nervi, Genoa

(440+ reviews on the web)
Nature / Park
A sprawling seaside oasis, Parchi di Nervi is a complex of many parks that once belonged to private villas, but are now united and publicly accessible. Relax on the grass and enjoy a picnic, stroll the seaside promenade, or wander the rose garden. Though their presence has caused great controversy, squirrels populate the gardens in great numbers and are friendlier than most. Visit the old villas: many have been transformed into museums, including the Gallery of Modern Art and the Wolfsoniana, which is mainly dedicated to the Art Deco and Art Nouveau styles. • At one time the pride of the area, as most of the attractions in Genoa the degradation is catching on ... increasingly neglected gardens, trees cut down recently due to bad weather, but the presence of other ground for years now ... the bottom side levante with some access roads to walk with long and smelly from the droppings left by dogs in flower beds. A real shame ...

  • Fixed when I stop in Genoa. During the walk of Anita Garibaldi you stop in this corner of paradise and natural for a moment of relaxation. The place is well maintained and very relaxing atmosphere makes for a pleasant stay in this park.

  • Great park with well equipped children's playground. Park harbours enough shadow places to relax even on a hot day. Trees have indications of their names, which is great for learning what they are.
  • Wonderful place with a beautiful landscape on The Sea of Genoa
  • Fantastic place to come at ease after visiting Genoa. Peace and quiet all over the place. Stay away in weekends and on public holidays however, especially when you have a car to park. If you're not very early you won't succeed and you end up in a jam at the car park of the Genoa Nervi railwaystation.
  • The best park in Genova!!! its just lovely, you can sunbathe, play with a ball or frisbee with your friends, enjoy a nice picnic, have loads of fun. If you are lucky you can see squirrels on the trees. Genova nervi station is really close by and so is the Beach and passseggiata di nervi. Have fun and enjoy the park
  • A very nice and big park, with lots of old and big trees.
