  • Stroll through Via Garibaldi means remain among suspended between history and current events. Every step is a journey into the past, in the grandeur of a city that, in 500 and 600, was the European Centre of wealth, ruled by families who, in addition to business, devoted themselves to the financial operations and became creditors of Kings and emperors. This way (but are to be included in the path also Piazza Fontane Marose and Piazza della Meridiana) presents beautiful palaces, even more beautiful inside than outside, it already perceive. Each building embodies the history of the family that built it. Worth visiting if you find yourself in Genoa.

  • Architecturally fascinating new street is the center of Genoa with its most prestigious Buildings, the Town Hall (palazzo Tursi) dei Musei di Strada Nuova (red/white/Tursi Palace) of the Rolli. Definitely more lively during the day while an evening stroll relaxes after the visit of the day.

  • Bad attitude of staff. Visitors are not allow to go to the bathroom before you buy the ticket if not the male staff will follow you until to the ladies bathroom and stop you. At least it happens on me and my friend. Then he will open the door and imply to leave when he don't understand your explanation. I believe that a museum is a public space and he has no right to do this.
  • Paintings are nice but no air con. Avoid in the summer!
  • Hugely beautiful...full of wonderful paintings...it shows to you how rich the Republic of Genova had been on 15th, 16th, 17th centuries
  • Too expensive, museum with a bit of everything.
  • Collocanto Museum and gardens inside one of the palazzi dei Rolli (unesco). Worth spending in via Garibaldi and admire all the palaces, then access the Strada Nuova museums, including the Palazzo Bianco, impromptu exhibitions and has a beautiful garden where you can also admire Via Garibaldi from another angle. With the same ticket you can visit Palazzo Rosso and Palazzo Tursi.
