  • First, it is not so easy to find the Museum, absence of appropriate signs. This is but actually not so bad, because the trail leads through a beautiful park. Although all sorts of interesting artifacts are exhibited in the museum itself, but the really exciting works by Hokusai and Hiroshige are not shown. Very bad!

  • For years, study Japanese culture especially the religions entering and admiring the statues of buddha seems to welcome the visitor. Continuing on the path we can admire the pictures of the other deities (Bodhisattva) that belong to the Galaxy of Buddhist religion. You will notice the care of artifacts and their beauty, a real time travel. The wonder are the armor of the samurai and their weapons, a culture a story that affects and fascinates. I would like to say a few words on the Palace in typical Japanese style and the interior arrangement of the plans. In the end you are projected in the East in a minute, I highly recommend a visit, maybe with minimal study.

  • The Chiossone Museum built for a benefactor's bequest Chiossone in 800 has found several decades placement in one of the most beautiful parks in the city of Genoa: la villetta Di Negro. Gorgeous get there through the paths rich in Mediterranean vegetation, where they are hiding caves and ponds and alas waterfall now drained!! An Italian garden that would be gorgeous but now left to decay and neglect in an administration that goes so much on Tv (Government Toti) but just think of the values of a beautiful city but neglected. Among other things on top of the entrance of the Museum opens a unique and immensely with the look that reaches the port cutting for a magical historical centre. The Museum isn't big unfolding on three floors to be honest a bit inconvenient, many suits of armor and bronze little gifts and I expected more pottery and ceremonial or ornamental objects of daily life. Fine prints. However it is worth a visit. Although there is little documentation about it and even welcomes it doesn't seem just thrilled visitors who arrive. The type even if you come back fine equal!!

  • A great museum with stunning artifacts but if you're English speaking and interested in the historical background there is very little information and context available for English speaking visitors. Which was disappointing.
  • Wonderful museum that contains a huge collection of Japanese art objects and historical objects (swords, armours...). Very interesting. You have to enter from the "Valletta Di Negro" park (Piazza Corvetto)
  • Avery nice museum, with lots of eastern art works.
  • Beautiful museum but even better view
  • great place
