  • Halfway Hill genovese and intimate sanctuary among its piccolino, a historic-artistic treasures crib poliscenico. Four scenes represent the Nativity set on the edge of palaces, churches and shops of a Genoa old apart from a report that shows the three wise men coming from the East. Well cared for the realization of buildings and elegant statues (about 50 cm) carved and painted by hand, some even dressed in cloth (different authors). Besides the religious significance is a prime example of Ligurian art, nice and safe, we hope for many years to come. Well worth a visit.

  • It is now customary in our family go every year to visit the sanctuary of madonnetta at Christmas time to admire the beautiful crib. The Church needs some restoration work but is always beautiful and the crib that say it is always exciting to be able to admire.

  • The sanctuary of Madonnetta or, more precisely, Sanctuary of our Lady of the assumption of Carbonara-is one of the main sanctuaries in the province of Genoa. Reachable by funicular Zecca-Righi, stop Madonnetta. The sanctuary is characterized by an octagonal courtyard paved in rissoeu (black and white pebbles) drawn in 1732 by Bartolomeo Storace. The Interior has a single nave, has a vaguely oval; the central area has six chapels, and joined the presbytery by two flights of stairs. The Church is embellished by frescoes created in 1697 by Bartolomeo Guidobono who painted the crowning of the Virgin on the ceiling of the crypt (environment proceeds under the high sanctuary), and the supper at Emmaus-surrounded by a rich setting for folder-on the wall of the refectory of the convent.

  • Very very nice church. She is famous for the wonderful wooden "presepe" (18th century) that is possible to visit not just on Christmas time.
  • Art and spirituality merge wonderfully
