  • I spent a whole day in the corridors and areas of this monumental cemetery. It is a Museum of art of the last century. It is packed with things to see and discover and more we enter more traveling in the history of Genoa and Italy in an extremely close weave among the monuments, architecture, historical memories and nature. There are some sections in dramatic decay with landslides and severe deterioration of gravestones and tombs.

  • I was too curious passing always near, I made a quick visit 2 hours without help, the place is awesome too bad the many construction sites and a bit of neglect.

  • Beautiful old cemetery (which is still in use) with such beautiful tombstones that you lose your breath! Bring your camera and good shoes and take your time and stroll around to see beautiful art! Take the fast half the day if all the impressions to sink in.

  • This cemetery is a beautiful place for anyone who likes History, sculpture or even just sightseeing. It's gigantic and full of beautiful things to see. I was a bit skeptical about visiting a cemetery but it's totally worth it. It is lacking some work when it comes to preservation, but even that adds to the beauty of the space. Better signs to help you navigate the space would also be nice.
  • I will love to put this joint in my menu
  • Monumental cemetery. One of the most beautiful of all Europe. I recommend you to follow a guided visit.
  • One of the best attractions in Genoa. It's an ancient 19th century cemetary that turned into a museum. Must see.
  • Amazing experience!! One most see, not only for its Masonry work but for the views of the Genoavese mountain side.
