  • Romanesque architecture, a very nice stripped Church and beside the commandery with the hospital. Area di Pre very interesting to discover with all its side streets.

  • This church is considered one of the oldest in Genoa. Located next to the eponymous medieval hospital complex. The Romanesque Bell Tower, the Gothic original interiors, baroque altars.

  • The beautiful 12th-century Romanesque church of San Giovanni di Prè Genoese port has always been to hospitality, as it was the Church adjoining the Commenda, or shelter for wayfarers passing by to go or return to France. The Church, from the gloomy atmosphere and style of French ancestry is an example of Romanesque architecture with imposing Baroque grafts, such as altars and paintings, but they have distorted the essence of the place. Don't miss to visit the area below with the lower church and shelter with the presence of some interesting frescoes on the walls and Vault. Thanks to volunteers, the place is open and usable. Not to be missed, partly because only a few meters down from the Principe railway station.

  • Not only has the high ceiling like the other churches, but is very beautiful.

  • Small but important historical centre of Genoa Church: they are actually two churches, the lower one is a little gem with medieval frescoes and original floor, at the top in arcades you can already see the transition from Romanesque to Gothic
