Boccadasse, Genoa

(4.6/5 based on 2,800+ reviews on the web)
Boccadasse, an old mariners' neighborhood, is popular with tourists but retains a traditional charm. Wander its streets and admire the colorful buildings. Sit on the small, rocky beach and watch the fishing boats. This area is also home to a medieval-style castle. Stroll along the Corso Italia for some local atmosphere. Sample the catch of the day at one of the area's seafood restaurants. Add Boccadasse and other attractions to your Genoa trip itinerary using our Genoa family vacation planner.

  • A corner of Genoa must see! A picturesque fishing village with colorful houses and a small beach ... ideal for a moment of relaxation!

  • But how could he exist heaven on a narrow and long, busy sometimes engorged and even a bit neurotic like Genoa? Exist! Walk across the sea, Italy, better course on foot or by bicycle and eventually you'll find an Esplanade overlooking the sea: it is Boccadasse. From this terrace you will see the whole Ligurian coast and at the bottom as a dreamlike appearance the promontory of Portofino, beautiful and majestic. Then a road that drops short and winding down to a beach towel red halls within the genovese. Here he is quiet and sweet paradise, with the lapping of the sea, we will do a minute of enchanted and amazed wonder which can be enjoyed in full by consuming sitting on the sand, a yummy ice cream or a bag of fried sauce that you will find within walking distance in the shops of Boccadasse.
