  • I'm a born cynic - if someone approaches me in a church and offers a tour, I suspect their motive. A couple of experiences in Genoa proved to me that it is well worth taking a chance. The main church ...  more »
  • It is the oldest, top Genoa is the origin of the city. Besides the Church should be absolutely visited the cloisters of the ancient Dominican monastery, visible only when accompanied by the volunteers in Exchange for a donation to the upkeep of the basilica. Our guide moved us to the competence and the time with passion gave us, without any quid pro quo.

  • This basilica, discovered on some tourist sites, well worth a visit if you move from Genoa. I was very impressed by the variety of styles within it and the beauty of the cloister. At the entrance there are some terrific and highly trained volunteers who will guide you.

  • Nice small church. The location is full of narrow streets and is your typical non metropolitan Italy
  • The workplace of Jacobus de Voragine. Expert volunteers who like to appeal to familiarize one with the architectural history of the Dominican convent inaccessible except for the nave and explain the artworks of the ex voto tablets up to the announcement of painting (Annunciazione) of Jos a Amman of Ravensburg (Giusto D'alemagna). You should take enough time and leisure for this beautiful experience; I have received an individual and personal private guided tour (in Italian).

  • A church with many stories from ancient times. A number of details and symbols give up puzzles. Friendly and technically sound guides like to explain the Church with its treasures. For me a must for a visit to Genoa.
