  • Beach area very welcome rest from driving, locals were fun and polite :). Was slightly spendy, but we were budget US military travelers, so take with grain of salt.  more »
  • This year, in spite of myself, I folded the LIDO for convenience, or rather on the "new beach". The settlement has nothing "new", indeed, decrepitude, carelessness and rudeness of many of the staff (not all, thankfully, someone there is civil) are the same as always. The structure, a marvel of yore, is in a State of total neglect and decay, that the "new" management attempts to disguise buying quattro Lounger (which incidentally are "finished" at noon on June 2, the second day of operation) and painting (male) the railings of entrance. On 2 June, first weekend of operation, the baths were presented with the Olympic pool fenced and half empty (the open ever?), no beds available, with an endless queue at the Secretariat, where 2 employees who requested information and respond appropriately miffed rude complained. A special mention deserves the gym, where he would train even Topo Gigio, because, besides being small and outdated, is filthy. In conclusion the new Lido "is a sad mirror of the city: old, dirty and lacking in humility. Compliments and especially that sin.

  • The Centre of Sup dei bagni Lido is crumbling as the bathrooms themselves. The fees are exorbitant and the attendant who is in charge of the Center is totally unable to handle it. Donot do courses or hire or keep equipment in that Center because from personal experience I have been cheated with money. I went missing part of clothing and the rudeness of the said responsible is evident. The filth and disorder reign supreme. There is no water ever. In a nutshell I was forced to go away. In Genoa there are far better places to SUP and windsurfing courses. ADIOS

  • Although in the concept. Three swimming pools and sea access. If you do not cure zt quz you found this place by searching desperately for a beach to gene. It may well be careful the price 12 e by people over 6 years...! But after 16: 00 cest 6th Phew! Although expensive. The beach is short and it is of pebbles. The umbrellas and sun beds paying 8 and 6 each. In short Yes and no. And the pools are sea water.
