  • My husband and I decided to participate in the First Level Guided Tour scheduled for September 14. Thanks to his expertise and great ability to convey his passion for the Church, architect Silvia Piacentini has made the history of the Church, the Order of the Scalzi Carmelites and much of the treasures in the Church of which he has made know both the author and the content of the canvas. The visit ends in the Pharmacy where you can try and buy the products of the Friars.

  • Ancient Pharmacy Herbal Sant'Anna of the Carmelite Friars Scalzi Genoa A wonderful place with excellent products A Castelletto in Genoa an ancient monastic spice that takes us suddenly into the past. The oldest historical workshop in Genoa

  • I met this pharmacy thanks to a guided tour to the adjacent monastery. It's a step back in time, with its showcases and various ampoules. There are many "remedies", patiently described by the herbal friar, you just have to bring a little patience and get in the queue.

  • Very beautiful place, the welcome, the wisdom and the great sympathy and charisma of Friar Ezio makes everything even more special. In the old pharmacy you will find many remedies for the body and .... with the help of Friar Ezio also for the spirit! The cloister with the big rose garden... the church with its frescoes... you mean what to say again? If you pass through Genoa, you go to visit it is part of the historical workshops of Genoa: it deserves!!!

  • Already the place, you get there and you feel better about just being there. It could be in Umbria, in the Tuscan hills, in those corners of ancient Italy a bit mystical that please foreigners so much (but also Italians, come on). The church square, the lilies and the silts, the silence, the blackbirds... Climb the stairs and see the rose garden, enter the pharmacy, old furniture, vases and jars... Brother Ezio has the brother's physique du rile that you would expect in a similar place, smiling, a little chubby, my grandmother would have said it's the portrait of health, physical and spiritual. Then I don't know, he's going to have his magicians, but he's someone who infuses you with the simple sight and listening to him... Although I have known the pharmacy for several years, I do not have many years of experience of its herbal products, but I can say that when I needed a solution to a small annoying problem Ezio quickly gave me what I needed, with precision and absolute effectiveness. Every now and then Frate Ezio is joined, at the pharmacy counter, by one of his collaborators, Silvia, whose presence is another valid reason to come here and feel healed. I believe that the now international fame of this "strange" pharmacy is well deserved.

  • In addition to being a beautiful place, the Convent of S.Anna houses this fantastic pharmacy still run by the Carmelite friars. Brother Ezio and his collaborators will be able to point out the real remedies for your every psycho-physical problem. Don't miss out on the adjoining art-filled church.

  • A place out of time when Brother Ezio welcomes us with his kindness and preparation and dispenses advice on the best healing solutions to adopt, depending on the case. It is the oldest historical workshop in Genoa. Here every single product is still made with natural elements.

  • It's a very quaint site. You feel like you're going back in time. Inside an ancient monastery in the Castelletto area run by the friars. They regularly organize guided tours.
