  • Expectations for the largest aquarium in Europe were probably high, unfortunately at the end of the visit we were somewhat disappointed. Some very nice and big but we expected a greater variety of fish. The costs are very high and if you want to buy some gadgets to your children at checkout you will get a nasty surprise! If you think you see the shows later pay close attention, the guided tour brings out of the Aquarium and once outside no longer fit with the same ticket.

  • An experience for young and old! There is a large Dolphin pool, where you can watch the dolphins from multiple pages. A demonstration is also available. Many different fish. Duration approx. 2 hours.

  • Wonderful visit to the Aquarium that needs no review. Thursday morning around 11 we met a very rude cashier. Not helped in any way to choose the best ticket for us (a large family), then to my request to get the latest time marked on the ticket I responded, always so very rude, the guy at the entrance. Too bad that the first person you meet at the Aquarium is so the guy at the entrance was very kind!

  • If parking at the aquarium with long waiting lines, you should follow a few hundred meters to the right and go to the parking lot of the port.

Where to stay in Genoa

Located just steps from the city's famous tourist sites, Genoa's centrally located B&Bs and hotels offer comfortable lodgings suitable for all tastes and budgets. To avoid the expense and stress of driving and parking in Genoa's central districts, look for a boutique hotel just outside the city center. Staying out of the busy heart of Genoa is a practical and affordable compromise, offering a good base for exploring numerous fishing villages located along the coastline. Hostels operating in residential areas also offer private parking and easy access to buses into the center of town.
