  • Handsome, charming and practical for long walks in the beach, the sea, the horizon. Shame that the work stopped for half of the entire seafront of Gela where insist restaurants, pizzerias and bars for all tastes and pockets.

  • Recently completed work on the long sea it splits into two parts--an area where you cannot, in my view, walk around with large, new sidewalks with cafes suitable for drinking, eating or dancing on the beach, and a higher area which is full of pizzerias/restaurants and takeaways. The upper area, that of pizzerias for instance, doesn't even show up in summer, closed to traffic, the nonexistent sidewalks because packed with tables and chairs of the premises even thinkable a walk, across the street the same walk impractical because the tightness of the curb or sketched stalls all have and nothing buy ... Another area instead, if well new, also is impractical : the descent to the disabled chock full of sand (as the photos testify) and the walkway that overlooks the beach, which should serve to stroll the same applies: full of sand! The care and control then non-existent: already there are lights that fixed intermittent and someone has to have well thought out to steal the LEDs. People will also be uncivil, but the controls, supervision, contracting authorities SHOULD be there ready to safeguard what public money invested, for national benefit and (now extinct) tourist who should be a continuing resource ... I'm sorry but I wasn't happy.
