My boyfriend and I, on a trip to the Valley of the trebbia we ran in Rivalta Castle. Very impressive nook for everyone. We decided to visit the Interior of the Castle where we met Stefania that guided us throughout the tour, very pretty girl and easygoing (says my boyfriend: "gran topa" aspect is that culture). Great Ste! We stayed at the Castle at lunchtime (count but an aperitif you could send him ... right?). Seriously thank you for giving everyone the opportunity to admire his extraordinary collection of military uniforms, weapons and artifacts of his ancestor Explorer and to keep the castle in its original glory. leaving the House without a precise destination we are on the A1. hoping to find some cool head for the hills of Piacenza. on the way we remain fascinated by a circular tower and ancient buildings. the signs lead us to the castle of Rivalta. Great surprise, visit to the village and then the Castle, cleverly illustrated by Stefania Guide (very prepared and sympathetic). the castle is well maintained and the rooms open to visitors are several. very nice view from the top of the round tower, disturbing the prisons and the leap of faith from the tower. went out we had lunch in the bar with small kitchen. good lunch specials and good value for money. by return, maybe in the fall, I imagine beautiful colors

Among the castles visited in the hills of Piacenza this is among those that we preferred. You can visit a good part of the Castle and the Guide Book is doing its job with professionalism and friendliness. Thank you

  • Magnificent stronghold. Well maintained and with a simply great static display of uniforms and weapons. Competent guide illustrated all castle secrets
  • Beautiful castle next to a beautiful borgo. Free parking.
  • gorgeous ancient castle. had a lovely visit, a historian took us to see some of the rooms although the family still lives there. I particularly appreciated the 17th century games and toys and the armours hall.
  • Nice place to visit. Unfortunately the castle was closed when we arrived here but we had a very good lunch in this area.
  • A guided tour of this castle well worth the trip. The family who still live there has some interesting collections, and in any case it is maintained very well, at least that is what we can see in areas open to the public. It can also happen to bump in hanging about for the courtyard of his house ... and find out it was him just when you see the different photographs, scattered throughout the rooms of the Castle, with famous people:D
