  • We stayed in this castle on the occasion of Halloween weekend and enjoyed it so much. We visited both day and night with a guide during the Horror Night. The Moon guide was very friendly and attentive with the group that had been formed specially with families with children. Everything well organized edited and precise, we highly recommend it. The castle is also located within the village of Rivalta, the atmosphere is charming.

  • We discovered the place thanks to a radio interview with the count, and we decided that a visit was essential. We then booked a visit during the week that we were able to engage in our travel plans; given that actually had to open the Castle just for us, we paid an extra € 25, in addition to the price of 10 euros each; point out this aspect for information-I don't regret absolutely the choice--and to signal this opportunity since the fact that they can count on exclusive use and total solitude and tranquility when visiting towns have certainly justified the added expense. Firstly the Guide: special thanks to Francesca, enthusiastic and prepared. I will not go into details of the visit, you can find online information better than I could provide: of course, since this is a family that has covered the story of the last 1000 years, even in roles of co-star, the ideas to be observed are varied and interesting. The feeling with which we left is visiting a private home (as indeed it is) that the owner opened the door without first clearly turned into a Museum, but leaving it as if at any moment the rooms open to the public could be used. Of course, wanting to make a comparison with our House, the spaces are very different and to count the equivalent of collection of our childhood games that still jealously are objects used or collected over time by various family members, including mark inter alia three banners from the naval battle of Lepanto and a pair of Garibaldi's redshirts ... In short, a scenario that, in its middle, we found "normal" and not an artifact. So as not to miss anything, there is also the legend about a ghost, faithless Cook regained "suicided" by hanging, apparently with a knife in his back. Also of note is that the castle is surrounded by a small village, which further amplifies the feeling of having found the key to time machine. Enjoy your visit ... it's worth it.

  • Magnificent stronghold. Well maintained and with a simply great static display of uniforms and weapons. Competent guide illustrated all castle secrets
  • Beautiful castle next to a beautiful borgo. Free parking.
  • Nice place to visit. Unfortunately the castle was closed when we arrived here but we had a very good lunch in this area.
  • gorgeous ancient castle. had a lovely visit, a historian took us to see some of the rooms although the family still lives there. I particularly appreciated the 17th century games and toys and the armours hall.
  • Very nice also the village around the Castle. Beautiful collection of uniforms and weapons from various eras ... beautiful rooms with all the furnishings.
