  • Rivalta Castle is one of the most unique castles of the Duchy of Piacenza. Its Tower is one of the most characteristic and the castle itself is very well preserved as a private residence. It is accessible from the small village very cute. You can visit the Castle via travel guide. The rooms open to visitors are not much, but definitely deserves. You should also visit the Church of San Martino. Ideal to visit the small hamlet on a sunny day, maybe combining the tour at a lunch or dinner in one of the two traditional Piacenza cuisine restaurants.

  • OK winter is a little chilly but Alessia with its friendliness and told us the life of the Castle owners from antiquity to the present day. I have left in the heart "of copper".

  • Magnificent stronghold. Well maintained and with a simply great static display of uniforms and weapons. Competent guide illustrated all castle secrets
  • Beautiful castle next to a beautiful borgo. Free parking.
  • Nice place to visit. Unfortunately the castle was closed when we arrived here but we had a very good lunch in this area.
  • gorgeous ancient castle. had a lovely visit, a historian took us to see some of the rooms although the family still lives there. I particularly appreciated the 17th century games and toys and the armours hall.
  • Very nice also the village around the Castle. Beautiful collection of uniforms and weapons from various eras ... beautiful rooms with all the furnishings.
