Gusana is the name of an artificial lake and of the surrounding area, in the territory of Gavoi, Sardinia, Italy.The lake was built in the 1930s to store water for an electricity generator (central of Coghinadordza), and it covered an ancient Roman bridge as well as an ancient archaeological site of the Nuragici people.It is now a tourist destination.

  • The Gusana Lake is a reservoir located in the municipality of Gavoi and is also known as the Lake of this country. It is surrounded mostly by Mediterranean maquis but there are tall trees like Oaks, Oaks and poplars that help to give a beautiful image to the entire pelvis. Approaching the dam you can enjoy a splendid view of the Valley where flows the river Taloro. On the shores of the Lake are the infrastructures that facilitate the entrance into the water to all those wishing to do water sports including the most practiced is the canoe. You can go for walks along the Lake and have in this way more chance to see the beautiful views. Right on the shore there are three hotels that guarantee a good receptivity and near the Lake are also farm.
