  • Either with the naked eye is the dome of the telescope Antonelli of Novara on the horizon and the evening picnics with full moon offer unique emotions; the steep and winding paved road could discourage but you can walk around enjoying the environment special vineyards in kilometers that vines and woods they create together. the Tower of castelle is an incumbent on Gattinara, which offers an incomparable view. the Alpini are keeping the site in good condition although the buildings don't meet my taste.

  • From spring to late autumn, possibly on foot, the pathway which leads to Castella: every bend in the road reveals new sights and you can imagine the traffic of bygone eras between the town and the fortifications on the Hill posed guarding the Fords of the river Sesia. Go to the discovery of the remains of the walls and admire a view that stretches from monte Rosa to the plains of Novara. If you have the time, extend the walk up to the castle of San Lorenzo: totally worth it

  • It is a place that is unfortunately not very frequented because little noticed ... going up a narrow winding road pretty even for walks with children we reach the tower overlooking Gattinara .... If clear skies you can see the countries that surround it
