La Rocca Reviews
Het kost je een goede drie kwartier om deze claim te maken en ik zou goede schoenen aantrekken en niet zoals ik alleen slippers Het is een pittige klim maar aan het eind word je beloond met een geweld... more »It will cost you a good 45 minutes to make this claim and I would not like I only good shoes and slippers, it's a spicy climb but at the end you will be rewarded with a great view of the guard more in the village of above all very nice if you have teenage boys who does not mind a challenge take a drink go along the way there is also beautiful nature and you will be well protected by the bright sun which it definitely easier makes the most of the energy cost you way up and the way down is as careful as there are many loose stones and branches are but again the view at the top is phenomenal and delivers beautiful snaps on for the home front on Facebook
It has been many years since I last walked up the rock. I took a gamble just wearing my addidas trainers managing to reach the top in just over 20 minutes. I started the ascent near Piazza Roma in Gar... more »

We've stayed at La Rocca every year since 2006. Love it here. We normally stay for three weeks in July / August but had a bonus week in May too this year. Can't stay away and always looking forward to our next visit!
This was our second time in La Rocca and we would not hesitate to recommend it. Can't wait to go back!
Simple camping village. The offer of activities here was very small, practically you couldn't do anything. The evening entertainment left much to be desired and the food was nothing more than okay. Very disappointing - plus, dog owners never tethered their dogs! People were constantly annoyed of dogs doing their business everywhere and if you're afraid of dogs (which I am), this place with dogs running around is definitely not for you. The only positive thing to point out about this vacation is, that there is a kayak and SUP renting available, which is very fun for both kids and adults. AND you can easily walk to the next city and comfortably go shopping there, have some ice cream, visit a nice Italian restaurant or visit their lake bar.
Excellent facilities and wonderful and obliging staff extremely helpful. First class restaurant. We booked next year's holiday before we left
I've been coming to the campsite since I was 8 years old and have seen it get better and better each year. I love the location and will always return. However I was disappointed with Eleanor, after a rubbish year breaking my back in a bad accident I was looking forward to this holiday as I always do. Booking in advance as I have always have tried to do to secure a pitch by the lake I was looking forward to turning up with my pitch ready, instead I was on a spot 5 rows back. Eduardo was great and tried his best to resolve the issue which in the end he did which I was very happy with. But after a conversation with Eleanor about me booking a lake side pitch, she proceeded to argue with me and was beyond rude when she told me "FOR ME YOU CAN LEAVE THE CAMPSITE". I was taken back by this especially as I have been coming for so long, longer then Eleanor. I know my mum also had trouble with Eleanor being consistanly rude, she even accused my mum of not paying in advance when she had, and even though she proved it at the start of her stay she accused her the second time when leaving. I love Italy and I love camping la rocca and will always try to return as it's a place close to my heart for many reasons. This year was exactly the same apart from Eleanor ruining the start of my holiday, I don't normally right reviews but felt the need after my experience of Eleanor.
