I can only say rude, I can't judge my job because I couldn't see it!. All the way through the parking lot with my camper (5.80 meters long, which usually wherever I can park) tell me that the camper will not fit, wonder if only for a few hours can I leave it out or pay for two parking answer: no if you want to park in the country and come here on foot. rubbish.!

There are so many bad reviews for this lido. As a rule "If there's smoke there's also roast" (burned) ... in fact it was so. The location is very very beautiful, of rare beauty, but now begin but:-parking from 9.15 apparently already complete (right, I can accept that there are 4/5 of parking space already sold to subscribers, more insight than us, but what annoys me anyway because nobody told us parking entrance). The lido opens at 09.00 and how it would seem there are those who do the tail drive from 07.30. ... insane; -asked the lido a front row seat and purchased without seeing it for €36. Then you move to "place" and the clerk on duty said that there are no free seats in the front row and that he can do nothing, "blame the crate that has the vision of reality" we are told ... no comment. We must return to the cashier for more discussion (and here there is something for losing his temper); -found a solution in the front row, but the presence of algae smelly and strange bubbles detergent type spoil the Party (to be honest the cashier had mentioned the presence of algae, but no one would have guessed rubbish like that); -We then get refund the amount (without problems, this is positive) and we moved on the public beach, dirty so vile (there seems to have poured the butts of half Italy), but at least one shore and a sea swell. -We still tried to eat in the restaurant of the Lido which opened officially at 13.00 hours, although at 13.15 was still closed ... We asked about this and was told that it should be ... Conclusion: we went to a place where someone tries at least to commit to earn our money (provided they are desired of course). Remembering that this is purely a personal opinion, I do not recommend it without second thoughts. The mass of people that flows is such as to require no special efforts to turn the structure. Shame as the untapped potential is really hard.

Wonderful beach with splendid sea. Shame about the bar staff and restaurant, rude and arrogant. Go to the beach, avoid the bar and the restaurant. Enzo

Where to stay in Gallipoli

To use Gallipoli as a base to see the rest of Puglia, consider staying in or near the city's old town, noted for its shops, restaurants, and museums. Most hotels in this area are quite large and modern, so if you want something a little more traditional and low-key, think about booking your room at a private villa or B&B near the seafront. They offer stylish rooms and sunny terraces, with access to private swimming pools and nearby beaches.
