  • Definitely are lucky enough to have a beautiful Caribbean Sea, long beach and is almost occupied by the lido, but if you go further you will find a bit of beach. Let me start by saying that you pay for parking and bar €5 still has the prices a bit high ... to how to service, well what can I say, definitely could be improved!

  • A personal unconscious d What's in his hands, who lives off thanks to a breathtaking view and a sea! Saves them just this! Because in terms of professionalism and kindness, under your feet! Prices dear d umbrellas and chairs, outside the norm compared to other shores of Salento: parking €5/umbrella/deckchairs €10 €13 each!!! Per hour d lunch c go to bar/restaurant to eat a sandwich, behind the counter attendants who don't even know what they sell, for guessed c say "There c should be mortadella, and there I don't know, maybe cooked, nn I made the buns" ... ... C sit down at the table, and at the end of the meal c go back into to get ice cream, I take with me only the wallet and cell phone, taking the place occupied with the towel; not even the time d get up and I see the waitress take and throw the towel on a wall of the bar. .. C would like a nice change management, or at least a nice investment on your staff. Clearly, to date, NO REFUND!

  • We were into this shore my fiancée and I to spend a day on the beach during our holidays in Salento. We start from the prices ... Paid a sunbed (old and visibly worn) 13, 10€ of umbrella and parking €5. Sincerely out price compared to other shores turn around these days, but above all different in the way we treat people ... always with the feeling of not being a welcome guest, indeed, at times seemed almost disturbing. We move to the bar/restaurant ... Did you just get the feeling that the only thing that counts is "money God" without any customer focus; not criticizing the food price, but at least know how are stuffed buns from whoever is on the other side of the bench expecting it ... Not to mention how we were watched by the waiters while we were eating 2 rolls (bought at the bar) sitting at a table ... Surely we would not go back to this establishment and it's really a shame because the place is very nice.

Where to stay in Gallipoli

To use Gallipoli as a base to see the rest of Puglia, consider staying in or near the city's old town, noted for its shops, restaurants, and museums. Most hotels in this area are quite large and modern, so if you want something a little more traditional and low-key, think about booking your room at a private villa or B&B near the seafront. They offer stylish rooms and sunny terraces, with access to private swimming pools and nearby beaches.
