  • An interesting finding the oil mill Mill located beneath the Palace Granafei, via Antonietta De Pace Gallipoli. It let me see a friend, go down and you find yourself in an atmosphere of past times, with oil processing equipment, presses and a 17th-century mill. This is the only one of the 35 mills which has been refurbished. They produced a special oil for lamps, much in demand by European cities. Interesting to hear the Guide, indeed I would recommend to do it go to children, it's worth it!

  • This small museum is the most curious place of interest. We listened with great interest to the narration of the Guide, the stories of workers who were underground with animals for a whole year are amazing (for that which was gained during that year if you remained alive!), sad and fascinating at the same time!

  • Not to be missed. Very interesting story, get off in the mill is the only way to have, even remotely, an idea of what passed the men down there. Guided well made. For 1.50 € there's no excuse not to see it.
