  • Give this rating to encourage further recovery of the structure. The rooms that you visit are interesting and well as the panorama but some indication in more wouldn't hurt. Maybe a guide willing and available might "revive" the castle to visitors. Interesting charts. Good idea to temporary exhibitions in some theaters.

  • The Gallipoli castle with its towers stands on the old. After many vicissitudes, only reopened to the public in 2014 thanks above all to the artistic direction of the architect Raffaela Zizzari (congratulations). Give back splendor to this castle and return it to its citizens, to Puglia and the whole world was a duty. I thank the school-to-work project that gave us a chance to have a guide like Alessandra, a very professional and passionate. The visit was very interesting and enjoyable, we admired the halls, galleries, landscape, the Tudor arch and learn about various curiosities of the Castle. Thanks again

  • I visited with pleasure the hotel welcoming in particular the first part of the introduction made by a young boy but very polite and careful in describing the area, both in describing the purpose of the project. The reorganization of the premises carried out, according to the information obtained on the spot ex-post, has effectively preserved the structure. For lovers of military history and/or the fortresses at any latitude the initiative will surely be appreciated. The ticket price is 5 euro (not so much) but the ultimate for tourists you would get by adding a guide (not as good as the guy at logon) able to explain and frame the site with historical anecdotes to avoid reading about unlikely local guides or Wikipedia. Incredible the acoustics in the halls spherical positioned under the main towers, to enhance that aspect.
