  • I returned to Gallipoli after several years since last time and I had the pleasant surprise to be able to visit the castle of Gallipoli which I remembered always closed and abandoned. Must make compliments to the authors of recovery of structure with special reference to the internal spaces made truly accessible. Having time I recommend visiting

  • Really a nice recovery in cultural terms it. In a summer full of sea and gallipoli discos, detach and be able to see and visit some thing like this castle is not bad really. A fantastic panorama visible from here. A wonderful news.

  • Visit the Gallipoli Castle in the middle of winter is an experience not to be missed. Is open only for two years and I must say that his architectural recovery I was pleasantly surprised. The staff is qualified and very friendly, highly qualified and available.

  • I visited with pleasure the hotel welcoming in particular the first part of the introduction made by a young boy but very polite and careful in describing the area, both in describing the purpose of the project. The reorganization of the premises carried out, according to the information obtained on the spot ex-post, has effectively preserved the structure. For lovers of military history and/or the fortresses at any latitude the initiative will surely be appreciated. The ticket price is 5 euro (not so much) but the ultimate for tourists you would get by adding a guide (not as good as the guy at logon) able to explain and frame the site with historical anecdotes to avoid reading about unlikely local guides or Wikipedia. Incredible the acoustics in the halls spherical positioned under the main towers, to enhance that aspect.
