  • We stayed at this beautiful medieval castle only for one night, but it was enough to understand how much professionalism in who works there and run it. We arrived in pouring rain, after hours of travel, but the receptionist with his kindness has brought a ray of sunshine now! Drove us into the room in the old rectory to the Church in front of the Castle. The room is equipped with air condition, mini bar, TV and hairdryer. the style is simple and pleasant keeping alive the ancient spirit of the place. We tasted a good Chianti they produce in the lounge near the reception where boast walls full of bottles of Chianti wine produced from their vineyards of Sangiovese grapes. Great wine! Then we had a nice ride in the Castle, which was owned by a noble Tuscan family. The Castle, well maintained and restored, is often used for cultural events and weddings especially cities (British, American, Chinese, Indians ...) given the great beauty of the place. Breakfast plentiful and varied and the sympathy of those who have it served is another bonus. Highly recommended!

  • It is a very old castle. Medeval ambience. Went during a non harvest time. Stayed in a separate cabin away from castle. Peaceful and so far away from cities noise etc
  • Spent four Days for a family wedding in beautiful surroundings being blessed by lovely weather Couldn't fault anything of the four days spent at the Castle Meleto
  • Nice small castle, one of the very few that survived the medieval wars. We did a tour with wine tasting and we felt that one small glass of wine and 1/2h tour wasn't worth the money, but all in all enjoyed the experience and the great views.
  • Castello di Meleto offers wonderful accomodations, visits of their castle and of course wine tastings. Very enjoyable experience and great staff!
  • Excelente acogida....experiencia...Alessandra Andreoti was an excellent guide...the wine and the food are delicious
