  • We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the winery and accompanying art. The lunch that followed was very nice, as well. The sangiovese grape is a bit dry for our taste, but the olive oil was spectacular.
  • Serene autumn day walking in the chianti region. The rocks with the names of vineyards will lead you to this unmissable Castle, or rather village, or rather gorgeous residenza d epoca with "the refreshment": a good restaurant in a magnificent environment. You can with good food and fine wines. And beyond; You can admire works of art. If you can visit the winery, by appointment.

  • Where to start? Several months ago, I contacted this estate and asked if we can visit. As I am in the wine biz, I expected to have options to visit the property and to learn what makes these very high...  more »

  • Perfect place to visit, even if it's far:) totally worth it. Exceptionally good wine, food and service. And all this for unbeatable prices! Magic place you won't be wanting to ever leave.
  • The reception was bad, you can't visit all installation without a reservation with a guide tour.
  • Finished the last wonderful bottle of your wine this evening purchased a year ago. Thank you. We hope for our return before too long. Where you are there is magic. x
  • Beautiful!!
  • Yes, a guided tour of the castello di Ama is expensive. Dearest: 45 € per person. Yes, definitely worth it, and would recommend anyone to do it. The visit, led by Jade, art expert and oenology, develops in three stages. The first is the visit of the cellar of the Castello di Ama, where you will see the direction of the family, the production of wine, the characteristics of the vineyards. The second part consists of a visit to the village of Love, full of local artwork installed by artists from around the world. One more interesting than the other. To understand the message you need to clear the guide explaining in great detail each one. The second moment is that of tasting of 4 wines. It starts with a rosé, to go away with more and more full-bodied wines. The last wine that is done try is a wine that is sold in the restaurant at Apparita, 35 € per glass. The ticket price is therefore totally paid off, not only for the sheer quality of the wines, but also for the very interesting guided tour, on the border between art and wine, in the village of Ama. An adventure for all lovers of Chianti, art and fine wine.
