  • as in a postcard ... see the church there in the middle of the Prairie with behind the Odle ... well what can I say? Spectacular!

  • Two things good has the visit to this small chapel located in the when Valley of Ranui. The first, of course, is the Church itself, in its frescoes and bulbous onion Tower. The other reach this remote corner of the South Tyrol, especially if we come from San Martino in Badia, leaving the SS244 taking by the sinuous SP29 booting proud Tor Castle and the Ladino Museum and through the magnificent peaks of the Sass de Putia, ends in the very close SP 163, a few steps from this alpine postal beautiful where any. The Church is in the midst of a small Emerald Valley, with an impressive backdrop. On our visit, a timid Sun although round, modelling billowing hulls of mist to warm the roof slates. It normally tends to be closed, although that does not prevent that there is always, at least a dozen photographers (with tripods and powerful machines) looking to make the picture of the year. For we must walk meters surrounding the very apparent close hotel and passing between fields and cattle of many farms that there exist. And the good old San Juan Nepomuceno (to whom the Chapel is dedicated) poses unscathed from their bright colors, almost naive. The Assembly cannot be more photogenic. This is another of those visits that there are that do that have a week of stay by the area.

  • Absolutely gorgeous photo opportunity with the small chapel in front of the peaks. Absolutely worth a visit. The arrival is possible, approximately once every hour with the bus from Brixen.

  • One of the most beautiful place of Dolomites
  • Beautiful and unique church
  • Beautiful church and calm.
  • Serene & beautiful place!
  • The little dolomite icon par excellence embedded in a unique landscape at the foot of the most beautiful mountains of the world: the Odle. A myth for all photographers. The Church is open to the public and the key is located at the ranuihof.
