  • A beautiful Cathedral, to visit, to detail and conducive to meditation, located in the historical centre close to hotel Palazzo Righini

  • Fossano, Cathedral dedicated to the Virgin Mary and San Giovenale (St. Juwenal), patron saint of the city, is located in the historical centre of the city, and has the title of minor Basilica. The original temple was built here in the 13th century when it has returned the relics of St. Juwenala. Present her with a neoclassical pediment created by Mario Ludovico Quariniego was founded in the late 18th century. Beautiful frescoes, paintings in the main aisles and 10 chapels are from the 19th century. Delight with his beauty and testify to the richness of the city and the local church. Next to the temple was the tower with a Bell Tower from the 15th century, enlarged in the 17th century.

  • .... The beautiful Cathedral of FOSSANO, in the Central via Roma, is the Community Center for centuries, of red brick, with the tall Bell Tower braced by cables and steel plates. The Interior is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside, filled with Baroque volutes, gilding, with a dome that rises into the sky ... Sacred music in the background leads to thoughts and personal reflections. To see without a doubt, if you switch from Fossano.

  • The Cathedral of Santa Maria and San Giovenale in Fossano is a classic example of eighteenth-century architecture. Considered by many to be among the most beautiful of Piedmont, it is walking distance from castello degli Acaia. Inside. It is certainly one of the largest and most opulent religious buildings of Piedmont, already individually archiepiscopal now combined in Cuneo and comes from an ancient plant but renovated at the end of ' 700.

  • Visited in a couple of hours, with the possibility of seeing the sacristy, the part behind the main altar and the first Church in the shape of a Greek cross, all thanks to the delightful sacristan who guided us in all places telling the history and genealogy of individual artworks everywhere. Also discovering that beneath the Church was an old building from the Romanesque period. Shame about the "cage" on the Bell Tower waiting to be restored. Visited March 2015
