  • The surprise is great when you know the story. Shame to know it is very hard for the shortage of staff willing to explain it.

  • In the days leading up to the visit had made contact with the Guide, who assured us that Saturday, August 13, the site would be open to visitors from 10 till 12.30. On the date shown, we arrive at the necropolis at 9.45. No one was present. We look up at 10.10 and still no news. We decide to call the Guide to understand if someone would arrive. The Lady answers that was delayed due to some personal issues but it would come for 10.30. We are waiting patiently. At 10.45 anything yet. Re-call asking, the Lady answers to be arriving in 15-20 minutes, then abruptly hangs up because "was driving". We remain undecided about what to do and then at 10.55 we leave the area to avoid further stay to wait in vain. Then an awful experience, I left with a feeling of lack of respect towards us. Is it normal to have drawbacks but why make us wait until 10.30 and then not comply with at least this time? Perhaps our time is worth less than the other because we're tourists? Questions I wanted to ask the Lady guide if I'd only met her.

  • Mystic location in the middle of the Valley, very interesting but I recommend a visit with an experienced guide.
