  • The site than anywhere else in the world would be exploited to the maximum by representing probably the tomb of the great Cicero, one of the most relevant figures of all Roman antiquity and model of classical Latin literature, is neglected and only accessible by reservation as a monument any of dubious value. According to tradition, Cicero was assassinated by Mark Antony after an escape attempt by sea. Cicero's tomb is situated near what is recognized the place on which was his home, near the tomb of the daughter Tulliola. My assessment is related to historical importance covered by the monument and certainly not to its tourism availability.
