  • History was written here: Caterina Sforza was defeated by the Pope son Cesare Borgia, whose Wappen is big on a page wall. Unfortunately, the well preserved fortress is not to visit because she was converted to a prison. You can go around the fortress and go very close to the walls, and insert a break in a lovely Park in the shade of huge chestnut trees. A good kilometre away from Piazza Saffi.

  • Here defended Caterina Sforza castle heroically against Cesare Borgia. At the end, she had passed but yet to unscrupulous son of Pope Alexander VI, their "paradise". Dramas of epochal importance took place here. And today? Forlì, left, leave the Citadel. Worse still, Visitors who may consider only the walls from the outside is made it almost impossible to reach it safely. Alone the crossing of the expressway, which puts a massive ring around the fortress, is life-threatening. And who came up with the idea of glorious, to accommodate even a prison within the historic walls, eludes my knowledge. The city apparently does everything possible to cover the tracks of Cesare Borgia and Caterina Sforza. Historians, but also fans of Assassin's creed shaking their heads. What a given chance!

  • This is a very nice and well preserved, actually appreciates above all from outside because the Interior cannot be visited or otherwise is not exploited as it deserves. It would be a great place for a museum on the middle ages for example. To make matters worse (close to) the picture adds that in the past someone had the bright idea to dedicate a portion of the facility as a prison. A stroke of genius.

  • 这么好历史古建筑缺少游客太可惜了,如果在中国发财了这么好的景点.
  • A beautiful fortress in the city center. Lends itself to some initiatives such as the ' famous ' Nativity scenes

  • It has charm, but for now it's more of a prison than a monument.
