  • Yes, it's a splendid job of restoration and enhancement! A modern Museum in the beautiful halls of a historical building, with exquisite lighting, the right spaces, precise descriptions ... wandering around here looking quietly to admire these works of the twentieth century is undoubtedly a very enjoyable experience. The Verzocchi collection on the theme of work is valuable, for some painting of above-average importance, for the name of the artists, but especially because almost all major Italian painters of the period (postwar) involved in its implementation and have therefore a work in this great collection very rare of its kind, designed specifically to De Chirico, Severini: Depero in Guttuso , from Migneco in Calhoun, Sassu, Campigli, Sironi, Rosai, Carrà, De Pisis, to dozens of others ... a great roundup of representations of a single argument ... different styles, different personalities, different interpretations, but a common starting point: a tribute to man's ability to work positively to produce. Very interesting are also the works upstairs; among these in my opinion noted for the splendid sculptures of Adolfo Wildt, a small painting by Giacomo Balla, some of Maceo Casadei and 3 delicate Morandi.

  • Magnificent display at two steps from the Musei di San Domenico (there is a combined ticket with a small savings). Core the Verzocchi collection, born from the idea of an enlightened entrepreneur in the construction industry and donated to the city on the day of Labor Day 1961. Seventy paintings whose theme work and commissioned for important Italian artists (Guttuso, Vedova, De Chirico and others). Singular requirement for artists to enter into the composition a part with the initials V&D (Verzocchi's company), where he becomes an added fun go to find the bricks in the works. Among other groups of works stand out, in my opinion, the sculptures of Adolfo Wildt, with their sense of strong longing even plastic. A visit not to be missed.

  • The building has been well renovated, very beautiful frescoes on the ceilings. Worth the visit for the Verzocchi collection that the entrepreneur has donated to the city, some 70 canvases of the most successful artists of the twentieth century, from Guttuso to De Chirico to Bale. Paltry ticket costs

  • Housed in the splendid palazzo Romagnoli-Reggiani, the ground floor is the Verzocchi Collection: 70 works by Guttuso to Davis to De Chirico with central focus on work. On the first floor, the Museum houses paintings and sculptures by countless artists including Balla, Wildt, Morandi etc. Deserves a trip to Forlì.
