  • Majestic building, extensively rebuilt in 800, the Bell Tower even in 1970 in the style of the original 15th century after it had been blown up in the war by German troops. The Interior has redundant decoration, especially in the chapel of the Madonna del Fuoco, devotion which goes back to a "miraculous" episode of 1428 and become the patron saint of the city.

  • The exterior is uninteresting and even the Interior, though impressive, not surprisingly. However, some significant works of art: a remarkable Romanesque painted wooden Crucifix, a painting by Palmezzano and one of Nicolò Rondinelli (little valued by the position and almost non-existent lighting), a baptismal font and especially the beautiful frescoed dome by Carlo Cignani (it would be a masterpiece not to be missed, but between those who enter the notes and appreciates a person out of a hundred ... to be optimistic!).

  • Beautiful church to visit if you're ever in Forlì. With a history of the Madonna del Fuoco to be discovered inside.
