  • I spent two days in the gardens in May. This is because I worked as a pianist in the rich musical season the Walton Foundation takes care of every detail. Every Saturday and Sunday when weather is nice, you can attend piano or Chamber music concerts. In the summer also in a Festival of youth orchestras. The place is charming, to regenerate the soul. The garden in the Valley has the charm of the forest, the sunny look of the Mediterranean, with an unmissable view of Forio. Wonderful afternoon of calm, with sunsets, flying birds and frogs croaking. A pleasant bar with oriental atmosphere offers natural products and fantastic cocktail "La Mortella". Try it!

  • This place is amazing. It smells differently and beautifully every few steps. Its not huge but you can take your time and really let the fountain tinged air and gentle bird sounds from the aviary wash over you. You kids played in the water features with leaves and we took them out of the intake after ofcourse! The toilets were spotless and on every one of the many levels. Potable water available frequently. Air lock system for 1 euro for orchid house confused pretty much everyone. But that didn't dent the good feeling at all. We saw some cheeky buggers pull a grapefruit from the tree. We saw one that had fallen earlier and grabbed it before the flies and ants did. It was the best fruit I ever ate. Hope to go back one day at a time of year when more stuff is flowering. We went in mid April.
  • Beautiful place. The island is hectic with traffic and people. However this place is a haven.
  • Absolutely beautiful and well worth the effort and cost with beautiful places to see on the way there.
  • Beautiful gardens, very tranquil and peaceful, at stunning views, definitely worth the visit
  • Loved the out door concert. Food selection at cafe limited and very busy at concert times. Well worth a look at the beautiful gardens.
