Canyon Rio Sass, Fondo

Canyon Rio Sass contains a nature trail measuring 1,200 m (.75 mi). A veritable chasm composes the first three quarters of the trail. You can follow the path of the water in the bottom of the canyon using a series of bridges and iron ladders anchored to the rocks. You will see stalactites, stalagmites, and fossils of various kinds, as well as a lake at the end. Consider arranging a guided tour. • The canion Rio Sass is a spectacle of nature: a stream sometimes frosted with clear water and trasparentecon two old water mills, stalactites and stalagmites of ice, a path to take it slow to admire and sometimes not slip; the bridge of iron and eventually the waterfall coming down from Emerald Lake; a wonder even after seeing it so many times every year we did the snow shoe tour

  • Simply fantastic, for nature lovers and to feel in another world. Outstanding!
  • amazin!
  • You must call to book visits and be placed into groups by about 30/40 people to take the guided tour that leaves from the bottom center and descends almost to Lake Victoria. The experience is great, combines the adventure and beauty of nature. You walk on the runways of metal in some places seem unsafe because you walk up to 45 meters high and feel the metal sag under the weight of the body not much security. The Guide leaves much freedom but if you are around is very useful to better understand the initial overview that exposes at the beginning. Looking up you can see houses built overlooking the canyon.

  • Ideal for mountain walks. Simple affordable trails without special equipment. From the Fund goes up the river and leads to the Emerald Lake. Better bring a jacket and waterproof, it passes close to the falls and the Gorge there is always fresh air.
