  • Can be reached easily by car, following the arrow to monte San Biagio. Easy to park in the area. The complex is just gorgeous. Both the outdoor space with benches, greenery, a waterway, Garden, walk, scenic Plaza. Both the Interior, Church in the upper zone, more or less underground spaces in lower zone. Small room with items for sale, jams, liqueurs, craft ... with mailbox and calendar to mark the products taken and pay without any controller, great civilizations like I only found on ships in Norway! Has a schedule of events/liturgical rites and aggregation, with perhaps accommodation. To visit if you are in the area!

  • I had read the reviews on this monastery, taking advantage of a stay in Gaeta I willingly and easily reached this place. As others before me have already well described, by entering this monastery and in the adjacent Park you realize many things. It is a place treated, but now in addition to what you see and appreciate it's more than that, a message. Many are those actually visible everywhere, everyone is an invitation to reflection, something not so obvious, around the monastery a wide landscape, the quiet, listening to the water running clear flowing from the small basin at the base of the building. Is noticeable everywhere an artistic use, decoration and composition of simple materials such as stone, clay, wood, iron. You walk in the garden until you reach the main building, very nice from the outside. Inside over the large and bright main building you can see various places of recollection seats on two levels, small areas all extremely valuable where few and particular elements blend seamlessly with the general balance artistic simplicity.

  • It is the goal that every traveler wants to reach, without being even aware of it. Wherever it is headed your way, the stop at this oasis of silence will give you a smile and a peace that you thought you can awaken within you. You will understand what the word: wonderful!

  • Sixth century monastic settlement, on the site where, according to tradition, were martyred Saints Magno e Paterno. The monastery is mentioned in the first book dialogues of Gregory the great which Chapter 1 speaks of the Abbot Honored, today the patron saint of funds. The medieval church preserved fragments of frescoes from the 11th century, depicting scenes from the life of Saint Benedict. The upper Church, of Renaissance style, was built in the second half of the 15th century, started by the Caetani and completed by Prospero Colonna. In 2007 they completed the restoration work carried out by the Lazio region, which have brought to light the ancient early Christian frescoes and the lower church and reactivated the ancient water mill entrusted to the regional park of the Monti Ausoni and Lake Bottoms.
