  • Guard is a pretty village, within easy reach of Folgaria, distinguished by the numerous murals on the walls of houses. From the village you can admire the Beseno Castle, Castle that the town guard was tasked to preserve from enemy attacks, the Valley and the surrounding forest. The country, through a path in the Woods, you can reach the waterfall of Hofentol in 15 minutes and the next vantage point of Dos de Stock. Needless to say, visit these places in the fall makes it possible to appreciate the beautiful colors that only this season nature can offer.

  • The country on call is 10 km from Folgaria, on the high side left side of valle del Rio horse, below the Summit of Mount Finonchio. Is an ancient rural village of Cimbrian origin, which, according to tradition, originates from the presence of a guard station (hence the name) to service the Beseno Castle. Guard is known as the "painted village". The name comes from the murals visible on the walls of houses, result of various art exhibitions mural that the location has hosted since 1988. These multicolored murals peek out from old and new walls along an itinerary to discover! An itinerary that brings out local traditions and customs through the interpretation of the many artists who have created various works. The church dedicated to Saint Anthony of Padua (beginning ' 900), the beautiful Waterfall of Hofentol, the workshop of Mac (Ugo Grott, skillful craftsman of wood), the murals between the streets and the atelier of artist, namely Home Grott.

  • The country is nice. And with the walls of the houses decorated with mural paintings thematic, more or less. You may like it. I liked (and much) the path leading to the rastoke ... lovely. And past the waterfalls enjoy panoramic views.
