  • We were passing and parked at Lake Coe, then quickly reaching the base. His transformation and visible materials they positively intrigued, but we had to stop at outer vision and reading of displays, because the base has limited openings. We'll be back, I think, to understand what it offers. Missiles, bunkers and trees: see you next time!

  • I went to visit the base thunder with two passaggini, you can get there without any problems. I find very interesting this testimony of the cold war right here in our mountains. Recommended

  • A must see, passo coe, only snow, sky and trees, absolute peace and then the opportunity to tour with dog sledding and snowshoeing.

  • Beautiful experience. Recommend paying the guide that explains how and why to exist of this military base yield Museum. The duration of the visit (which can also be done without a guide) is about an hour and then you can freely roam around the base, or go out and spend the rest of the day on the trails around the base and around the Lake Coe adjacent. externally there is a food court with ample parking for campers.

  • It was a great work of restoration. Gives the impression of being still in use. If you go over there or you are passionate is a must to visit. Especially in winter when all around and covered with snow.

  • This sobering visit. Base Thunder is a part of the NATO of the cold war. Obligatory driving, unfortunately the timetable of guided tours are very distant from each other, you should call us to go there at the right time. The missiles insights are awesome.
