  • The tour is free and gives an insight into the lives of miners of Sardinia. Highly recommend to take the family!

  • The best Mining museum in Sardinia I love it! It's a little hidden gem in the Sardinia mining history. I highly suggest a visit here it is free to visit ! It is better if you make a reservation in advance for the visit. There's a small group of people who work behind this and you can support them via a donation. The place is beautifully kept, all the old machinery is in place and well preserved. I will always support this site and the people who work behind this!
  • Interesting place. The guide tried his best to explain in English. We learnt about mining and miner's life. He's very knowledgeable. Interesting samples of minerals from the mine.
  • Ok, there's not a gallery to get into, but it's still one of the best museums about the lives of the miners. My guide was an ex-miner and he was really competent.
  • As of July 2018: At least during the week you need to call the guide upfront and agree on a tour otherwise (as in our case) the museum could be closed. See contact details in picture. In general it sounded like a good museum but it was not open when we came without having arranged a tour upfront
  • I would leave with compliments to Roberto and Tore, two volunteers who accompany you along the journey in the mine museum, perhaps because they are former miner but their stories are told with passion and dedication, all free of charge. Absolutely recommend.
