  • After visiting the old pharmacy of Santa Maria Novella, having admired the frescoes, paintings, sculptures, ancient apparatus for processing of herbs, flowers and roots, have stimulated the sense of smell with all the wonderful scents, touch with the creams and lotions, hearing with the history of the ancient Officina farmaceutica, I could stimulate the taste in the tea room open inside. In addition to herbal teas, teas and coffees prepared a wonderful chocolate, thick and fragrant. Great many tastes chocolates all by Santa Maria Novella and equally good pies and sweets. Undoubtedly a few hours are not enough to visit, being able to see and taste everything, I'll be happy to return inside the workshop at inebriarmi of odors and flavors.

  • Excellent tasty smells as soon as you open the door! A very colorful place. Good quality perfumes and cosmetics. Expensive, but the quality is excellent! After the SOAP you can not use the cream. Delicious scents for the home. Very good bittersweet chocolate, but it's better to buy just the chocolate shops in the city.

  • The historic Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella is a place not to be missed if you visit Florence. Already on the threshold we are pleasantly greeted by the smell of this place and then continues to amaze us with the beauty of its rooms, frescos and various wonders to we're surrounded. It is a place where you can lose yourself for hours. Unfortunately I missed the cloister, my partner won too quickly in leg without giving me the opportunity to discover this part they say is equally sublime! The only flaw is that the products are expensive but of unquestionable quality and especially non-industrial. I assure you that all products that I ventured to try so far made me feel like a real Queen and especially stressed the importance of this tradition and high seriousness advice: don't be fooled by those who spend only a half hour or so. This is a place where time does not have any importance.

  • Beautiful place! Great location... be ware of the products! Very disappointing as I have been buying there Perfumes for years! I purchased the same perfumes I always purchase and much to by disappointment the scent wore off in less than an hour! Not what you would expect at that price!
  • Beautiful, museum quality, store for perfumes - where it was invented by monks. Excellent service to help you pick from a great selection of products. A little pricy, but still very reasonable, compared with the prices for high-end. niche, perfumes in the US.
  • Hard to judge this place: impressive sales rooms, over hundreds of years old. But their sales policy is weird: we could not exchange/return a product we bought wrongly. I.e we bought and wanted to return immediately on the spot. Not possible! Their policy....
  • Amazing! It pretty much looked like a museum of S.M Novella. Lots of different items, even a tea shop. Really cool experience and would encourage you to stop by even if you are not planning on buying anything. Their creams and lotions are priced competitively and are good, I've been using their anti-acne soap and lotions for a while.
  • Incredible products made from ancient recipes. Well worth a visit.
