  • We stayed in an apartment around the corner from Pegna for several days and made daily visits to this store for breakfast foods, snacks, drinks, and sandwich fixings. I spent a lot of time in the stor...  more »
  • Pegna is a beautiful shop, a very elegant pharmacy and grocery store. However we were treated like second class citizens by the staff. Very rude to non-Italian speakers, tourists. High-end experience ...  more »
  • A stop not to jump for souvenirs to give or to taste once back home. Amazing meats and cheeses. Very good

  • A must-see for anyone going to Florence. Fantastic supermarket, great selection of produce. Good for presents.
  • Great options for gifts and interesting to see all the high end foods, preserves, meats, etc. A lot of the gifts can be found for cheaper at the market in Mercato Centrale. They have bottarga but it was powdered only.
  • I discovered this place while walking around duomo. It is a market but kinda fancy one. Everything is more expensive than other markets i have been. Here are some photos of this place but i suggest you to go to carrefour express instead.
  • Excellent selections for meats and cheeses. (But also a (near) full selection grocery store.) And, they will shrink wrap the Parm Reg for traveling! Reasonable prices made even better with favorable dollar/Euro exchange rate.
  • This grocery store is the best in Florence. Small, quaint and they have lots of speciality items at a great cost. Much better than the express markets and some items are cheaper. We went here first and kept going back over the other stores.
