  • The Museum, which you must visit for anyone interested in Ethnography, history. The Museum assembled a great collection! Gems of the collection are undoubtedly samples from old collections of the Medici family (generally a lot of that gathering), part of the collection of James Cook collected during his famous expeditions, many very unusual artefacts from all over the world, brought to Florence by various Italian expeditions. In one of the halls of the Museum you can see a documentary about the Spring Festival among the Ainu in Hokkaido-such, for sure, you will not see anywhere else! Very few people in the Museum, so no need to stand in queues for tickets and entrance, just come! In addition to ticket only at this Museum (€6), available integrated tickets to the several museums of the Florentine Museum of natural history (€10). Rest day-Wednesday. Until 1 June working with 10 till 16.30; all summer, and in September-with 10 till 17.30.

  • University Museum with unique collections in order to know the life of the mankind in various parts of the world. Abnormal enough the tour route, broken in two, because jobs. The Museum exhibits are kept in the cases of 800-900, which very often makes it hardly usable deepening that they deserve.

Where to stay in Florence

Variety is not a problem when deciding where to stay in Florence. The compact town center is packed with hotels, hostels, and small inns. The drawback of this upmarket central area is that even family-run B&Bs often cost as much as luxury hotels. For more affordable lodgings, explore the area outside the tourist-driven city center. Staying in one of the city's residential neighborhoods allows you to immerse yourself in the daily life of local Florentines. B&Bs and hotels outside the center offer private parking and spacious rooms, all within walking distance of the main tourist sites.
