  • Small but nice. Do not compare with the big brothers, but then also much quieter. Bardini was the Axel Vervoordt of his time.

  • I enjoyed my time here. Perhaps this is not a popular museum, I am the only one inside and I can have a quiet environment to appreciate the arts. One thing special is the focus of Stefano Barfini is on the display rather than the value of a single product, thus, the set up here is quite different from other museums.

  • One of the most beautiful museums of Florence, unfairly unknown. Not to be confused with Villa e Giardino Bardini (equally as good) the Museum is a short walk from Oltrarno lungarno acciaiuoli and ponte alle grazie. Antiquity, peace and plenty Blue:)

Where to stay in Florence

Variety is not a problem when deciding where to stay in Florence. The compact town center is packed with hotels, hostels, and small inns. The drawback of this upmarket central area is that even family-run B&Bs often cost as much as luxury hotels. For more affordable lodgings, explore the area outside the tourist-driven city center. Staying in one of the city's residential neighborhoods allows you to immerse yourself in the daily life of local Florentines. B&Bs and hotels outside the center offer private parking and spacious rooms, all within walking distance of the main tourist sites.
