  • People are reporting that the market has closed. It was moved in mid-2016, relocating to Largo Annigoni, just a few streets away. It still has great little shops and a similar atmosphere.  more »
  • Amazing ... nooo ... I thought it was a boast of Florence, teaches that the indicated ... I was really disappointed ... and I say that as a occasional visitor who lives in another city, far but close enough to stop by every now and then ... I have no words ... I thought it was something quaint and charming, not to stay on saying everything was ... I really hope that the "bargain" notice of having done a casket and carry that unique "market inimitable in its square. I remember when I went with my husband and it was fun to discover all those "odd" things, for many of them wondered what they were because distant light years from existing tools ... shame to say "I saw" though thankfully, I did see him!!!

  • I often went to Piazza dei Ciompi at the flea market. It was unique and inimitable. Now in a nearby square has lost its appeal, although the stands are always full of interesting things and managed by special people. In the searing heat of summer, without even a tree there is to die for! In the days of real rain is there to drown. I'm sorry that the artisans are treated like this! Have so little of typical in Florence ... I hope that they will return to their place. However, the market itself always offers unexpected treasures and great prices! W i Ciompi
