  • A great experience and the guides were very prepared. Although fiorentina I had never been to Poggio Imperiale. To be repeated.

  • A beautiful sunny morning for this magnificent tour of the Villa del Poggio Imperiale. Seen from outside this building hides well his heritage, it is hard to imagine the treasures it contains. The Perisyle is without disputed my favorite room and I had a big favorite for the splendid piano half-tailed the White Hall. Chinatown is impressive and the General wall paintings are wonderful. I strongly advise to do this tour! I had the chance to have a French-speaking guide (Belgian in fact), which was to increase my pleasure :)

  • On the occasion of the appointment of the Medici villas to the UNESCO World Heritage site, I was Imperial, the recent villa with German and Italian friends also in the Villa of Poggio. And I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the premises, that the modern era are reminiscent of European castles. The traces of the Habsburgs and the Napoleonic era are palpable. Today it is a public high school, and the students are to be envied: your dining room feels like a Baroque Ballroom - with its chandeliers and landscape frescoes. The students lead their guests pride Sunday morning through the halls, depending on the audience in Italian, French, English and German language! It was surprising, a special experience really, if it is believed only Renaissance in Florence.

  • Many people concentrate in the center of Florence to do their sightseeing, which is fine of course. Villa Medicea del Poggio Imperiale is one of the attractions that unfortunately don't get the number of tourists that it deserves, but if you have time and access to a car/taxi it's one of the places that deserves a visit while in Florence.
  • It is a place of incredible beauty

  • A beautiful villa medicea, transformed over time into a monumental and elegant neoclassical mansion. the interiors are beautiful, especially the salt made decorate by elisa baciocchi, Napoleon's sister prestigiossissima. too bad the elegant rooms are furnished in classical style of Princess baciocchi dell Empire. I recommend you visit the peristyle commissioned by Princess all architect Giuseppe cacialli, pure expression of neoclassicism. Long live Napoleon Empire alive.

  • A city that does not deserve visits are certainly worth seeing. Outside an ancient tree took his space so exuberant

  • Beautiful morning domenicale! The villa is beautiful, and I had the chance to fall on a francophone Belgian guide, what did that increase my pleasure :) Majestic rooms, splendid paintings and a passionate guide, the cocktail perfect for an hour and a half of pure wonder. Thanks for everything, I strongly advise this visit!
