  • The stately entryway, dominated by a grand stairway, leads into the breathtakingly handsome library. Michelangelo's design, unharmed by a grafted-on alcove added later, is almost overwhelming. But instead of feeling miniaturized by the library's Titanic proportions, the effect is rather the opposite. You feel a part of the structure's majestic dignity. Sounds over the top, I know. But try it and see.
  • Fascinating library that brought back to my mind memories from my high-school classes of history of art.
  • Outstanding!
  • I think here is a brilliant library for mankind.
