Where to stay in Florence

Variety is not a problem when deciding where to stay in Florence. The compact town center is packed with hotels, hostels, and small inns. The drawback of this upmarket central area is that even family-run B&Bs often cost as much as luxury hotels. For more affordable lodgings, explore the area outside the tourist-driven city center. Staying in one of the city's residential neighborhoods allows you to immerse yourself in the daily life of local Florentines. B&Bs and hotels outside the center offer private parking and spacious rooms, all within walking distance of the main tourist sites.

  • Friendly and inviting, always engaging in conversation with people interesting in looking around. They have wonderful works of art on display inside and outside of the studio. The style is very unique and if you are visiting Florence this must be on your list of places to see.
  • Florence, Lungarno Cellini, civico 39: the presence of a workshop converted into an Art Studio producing high-value artworks. Every design, every painting, every sculpture radiates the essence of its creators: "iguarnieri". A material essence of art that comes from a strong cultural identity has been shaped according to the contemporary sensibilities of artists, as is present in them, reworked by expressive maturity and the technique they have achieved. The availability, the strength and passion of Rodolfo and Roberto completes the perfect work that they themselves have created in the civic 39.

  • I have been many times to visit the shop and I have always been fascinated by the combination of the environment and the impact of the executives. I have several pictures of them in my house and every time I return to visit the guarnieri strikes me the variety of their proposals. I highly recommend!

  • Art Gallery and artists studio, where Roberto Roman and Rodolfo Guarnieri, Bacci and all that revolve around this art forge combine tradition with contemporary languages.

  • Contemporary art in a city like Florence can be hard to notice, but when I passed in front of the shop iguarnieri their contemporary art I was immediately captured. Workshop with artists availability illustrate their masterpieces, and I could not resist the temptation to get one for my collection.
